Tech highlights

  • The first True Ribbon Headphone to overcome the high bass distortion inherent to the design, achieving a THD of 0.5% typ. in the low-end at 94 dB.
  • The first True Ribbon Transducer to combine a 4 μm pure aluminium foil with an evenly applied, ultra-thin visco-elastic polymer coating, ensuring clean transients and a fast settling time.
  • The first Transconductance Amplifier (aka Voltage Controlled Current Source) designed for driving True Ribbon Headphones, capable of accurately delivering 1 A (RMS) into a 0.4 Ω load at a staggeringly low THD of 0.0003% typ., with a peak output capability of > 13 A (p-p).
  • Tuning based on the Harman Target, with refinements to better suit audiophile preferences.
  • Full carbon fibre headphone enclosure featuring a “Venetian blind” style grille, achieving excellent acoustic transparency without compromising driver protection.
  • Lightweight at just 370 g (excluding cable), despite housing 12 powerful neodymium magnets.
